In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps in Egypt showed varying performance in terms of downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a consistent weekly download rate, peaking at approximately 7K in mid-February. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting around 18.4K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at approximately 17K by the end of March.

MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 6K in late February. Active users also saw a significant rise, starting from 6.8K at the end of December and peaking at around 16.9K in late February before settling at approximately 13.7K by the end of March.

Gpcoins and GP coins Counter had a moderate performance in downloads, with the highest number being around 2.9K at the end of December. The app's download rate then gradually declined, ending the quarter at about 532.
